| This mini ecotourism resort on the southern edge of Laguna Catemaco is Swiss operated and specializes in no frills accommodations. Tent space is available from 50 pesos per person. Several rooms are also available, and an open air cabaña in a jungle setting is quoted at 800 pesos per day. The resort rents row boats, a horse and gives sailing lessons. The kitchen uses home grown livestock, and raises the ducks for the infamous duck burgers at "La Casa de los Caballos" in Catemaco. |

| Access is via a greenery enshrouded half mile walk, along the laguna, from the only beach at Pozolapan about 7 miles from Catemaco via pirata taxi and a long walk. A boat will charge 300 or a lot more pesos from the Catemaco malecon. website: catemaco.org |
