Rentals in Catemaco
There is a tremendous shortage of fully equipped rentals in Catemaco, Veracruz. Many visitors
intending an extended stay are turned away because of inability to find suitable accommodations.
Building some modern rentals would be a good opportunity for a retirement investment.
These locales sometimes have some functional units available:
Hotel Tepetapan - several furnished bungalows, often fully rented.
Balneario Cortijo Sobrevals - two partially furnished houses available sometimes
La Finca Hotel - 2 bedroom furnished villa, $ 4000? pesos per day
Uscanga Hirise - fantastic views, furnished from 5,000 pesos, almost empty most of the year.
Jessica´s Place - near Malecon, several unfurnished apartments, usually fully rented.
There are numerous other unfurnished apartments and houses for rent in Catemaco, starting at 1000
pesos and going as high as 20,000 pesos (I hear that´s what Mel Gibson paid for a small estate
overlooking the laguna.) NONE are up to US or advanced Mexican standards, but with a little
